These terms & conditions have been designed to provide maximum assistance to our participants.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE COMMENCEMENT OF TRAINING
The Training Enrolment Form should be completed prior to the date of course.
Fees and Charges
Course fees are required to be paid in full prior to training/assessment services occurring unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance by CPB Group management.
Payment of fees must be made at the time of booking by cash, cheque, credit card or EFT transfer. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for any reissue Statements of Attainment or competency based training course certificates.
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests must be made in writing and accompanied by supporting documentation.
If clients/participants are unable to attend the course on which they are booked the following fees will apply:
- 24 hours or less notice – charged the full course fee.
- More than 24 hours notice – an administration fee of $50 will apply.
- Refunds will be paid in full providing a minimum of five (5) days notice of withdrawal is given.
If, for whatever reason, CPB Group is unable to provide training and assessment services we will advise all clients/participants at least (3) working days prior to course commencement.
Where at all possible the course or training module will be offered at alternative times and dates. If clients/participants are not able to attend alternative courses, all fees paid for that course will be fully refunded.
Access & Equity
CPB Group maintains the access and equity principles of the VET (vocational education & training) sector, and therefore has procedures in place to provide alternative assessments for our students who have LLN (language, literacy or numeracy) concerns. We aim to provide flexible learning & assessment methodologies so as to facilitate learning in adherence to EEO principles. Please indicate any needs you may have during registration or enrolment. CPB Group is conscious of providing the best possible support for all participants. Any concerns are treated by our staff with committed sensitivity and total confidentiality. RPL/ Credit Transfer
CPB Group provides full Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer (CT) of established competencies to ensure that previous learning is fully recognised. Applicants must submit original documents to support claims. Copies will be retained for file record purposes. Documents submitted should include Certificates of Competencies, Statements of Attainment, Learning Outcome Statements, Completion Certificates, course modules, relevant work and personal references and any other evidence of competency the applicant may consider relevant.
Nationally recognised Statements of Attainment and qualifications are issued upon successful completion of required outcomes in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework and Standards for RTOs 2015 guidelines. Some courses require a practical assessment to demonstrate learning outcomes. A satisfactory pass for all learning outcomes is required to gain certification.
Complaints and Appeals Procedure
All students have the right of appeal against final assessment outcomes. CPB Group provides all clients with access to fair and equitable complaints and appeals processes. Privacy of Information
CPB Group collects personal information for the sole purpose of course enrolment and training record purposes. All personal information is held in strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed to a third party without written consent from the participant unless required to do so as per the Standards for RTOs 2015 guidelines. Information may be used by CPB Group for marketing and research purposes. CPB Group keeps complete & accurate records of attendance, payment and training evidence which are kept secure and retained for 30 years.
